Homes in Klarvatten Edmonton are located in north Edmonton within the Lake District. Klarvatten first experienced housing construction in the late 1980s, but over 50 percent of housing construction took place in the 2000s. The most common prpoerty type is the single detached house; the remaining residential dwelling units are found in duplex homes and row houses. There are some new condominium apartments in the northern part of Klarvatten.

One of Klarvatten's major features is a large lake and wetland located in the east-central, which provides home owners with access to an attractive outdoor amenity and provides recreation space within the community. A school site is provided in the middle of the neighbourhood, along Klarvatten’s western border, but as yet no school has been built. Two elementary schools are located in the adjacent Lago Lindo neighbourhood.

In keeping with the naming convention for all neighbourhoods within the Lake District, Klarvatten is Swedish for clear water. Klarvatten Edmonton homes for sale are within a fifteen minute commute to CFB Garrison.
