About Ormsby Place Edmonton Properties

Ormsby Place Edmonton is a mature community in West Edmonton and forms part of the Jasper Place district. Ormsby Place was named in recognition of A.W. Ormsby, who introduced the present grid system of numbering streets and avenues in Edmonton.

 

Residential real estate in Ormsby Place was constructed in the 1970's and 1980's with a large portion of the housing consisting of townhomes. Just over half of the homes in Ormsby Place are single family detached houses.
